Velora ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered personalized recommendation and marketing platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling all data securely and transparently.

By using Velora, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to run WhatsApp campaigns and Instagram OAuth integration.

1.1 Retailer / Business Information

• Business name
• Email and phone number (provided during signup)
• Authentication credentials (securely hashed)

We do not collect IP address, device information, location, or any technical metadata.

1.2 WhatsApp Integration Data

To enable WhatsApp Business API communication, we collect:

• System User Access Token (encrypted & stored securely in our backend)
• WhatsApp Business Account ID
• Phone number ID
• Template/message metadata

We do NOT:

• read or store any customer chats
• collect phone contacts
• access personal messages

1.3 Customer Data (Uploaded by Retailers)

Retailers may upload:

• Customer phone numbers
• Purchase history or interaction data (optional)

We do NOT collect:

• Aadhaar, PAN, bank details
• Passwords
• Address
• Age, gender, or sensitive personal info

1.4 Instagram OAuth Data

If retailers connect their Instagram account, we collect only the basic profile info allowed by Meta:

• Instagram account ID
• Profile name
• Profile picture URL
• Page access token

We do NOT access:

• DMs
• Followers list
• Posts, media, comments
• Insights (unless explicitly authorized later)

2. How We Use the Information

We use collected data strictly for:

2.1 WhatsApp Campaign Delivery

• Sending personalized marketing messages
• Managing templates
• Tracking basic delivery status

2.2 AI Recommendation Engine

• Matching product offers to customers uploaded by retailers
• Generating prediction-based customer segments

2.3 Instagram Account Management (Optional)

• Connecting Instagram account
• Managing access tokens
• Basic account verification

We do NOT use customer data for:

• Ads
• Reselling
• Third-party sharing

3. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell or share data with any external companies.

Data is shared only with:

• Meta / WhatsApp Business API (for message delivery)
• Meta / Instagram OAuth service (during connection)

4. Data Security

We apply industry-level security:

• AES-256 encrypted token storage
• Hashed login credentials
• HTTPS encryption
• Strict backend access control

No unauthorized employee or system can see customer data.

5. Data Retention

• WhatsApp system user tokens → stored until revoked
• AI training data → only stored as long as retailer account is active
• On account deletion → all data permanently deleted within 30 days

6. Your Rights

Retailers may:

• Request data export
• Request correction
• Request deletion
• Disconnect WhatsApp or Instagram anytime

7. Children's Privacy

Velora does not target or knowingly store information about children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

Any update will be posted on our website/app with a new Effective Date.
